PowerRide University is the premier destination for motorcycle education in Virginia and Maryland. Whether you're gearing up for your very first ride or looking to sharpen your skills after years on the road, we’re here to help you ride smarter, safer, and with more confidence.

As a locally owned and operated school, we pride ourselves on our deep roots in the community and our commitment to rider safety. Our certified RiderCoaches are passionate motorcyclists with real-world experience and professional training credentials from the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, the Maryland Vehicle Administration, and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. They bring energy, expertise, and encouragement to every class.

We offer a full range of hands-on courses—from beginner to advanced—for riders ages 18 and up. All training takes place on safe, closed-circuit ranges using our lightweight, modern motorcycles, so students can focus on mastering core riding techniques in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

But we don’t stop at the classroom. PowerRide University is a resource for the entire motorcycle community. Our team is happy to speak to riding groups and clubs about safety topics, riding best practices, or group ride strategies—all free of charge. Because at PRU, we believe education doesn’t end with a license. It’s a lifelong journey.
